An update at last!
Hello all! Dad has really stunk up the joint with the updates on my life, so I'm taking over now. So without further ado: "Here now, the News."
I took Mom and Dad on a trip to Jekyll Island over the Fourth of July. To get there, we rode on a PLANE, which is a funny kind of car with lots of strangers who looked at me when we got on as if they were scared of me! My ears felt funny at the beginning and end of the trip, but I sucked on Mom's finger and everything was OK. They have classical music to listen to on planes, and even better than in the car, because you don't get interrupted for pledge breaks.
Being away from home takes a lot of energy, so I slept a lot. The good thing was that Grandbed errr Granddad was there.
We also visited Aunt Tannis and Uncle Bill. This next picture isn't very flattering of me, but I include it to show how much that day was a festival of diapers. Dad says both of cousin Beth's daughters are in this picture, but I only see Delaney Mom and Dad did go see Reba and Beth a little later. Mom held Reba and pondered how she was almost twice as big as me when I was born. When she told me I could have been nearly as big, had I stayed until my lease ran out, I told her, "You're welcome." Oh, by the way. They have the weirdest cat I've ever seen.
And speaking of cats, I've begun to notice that we have some. The territorial issues are the worst. Dad has begun to teach me that discretion is the better part of valor, at least until I can grab that fuzzy thing on Merlin's backside . Gwen and I have a firmer treaty. She gets the foot of the bed, and I get the rest.
Just as an aside, every time we look at this picture, Dad starts to talk about my Aunt Jemimah, but Mom hits him before he can say anything more. When do I get to be old enough to hear about the really scandalous members of the family? Huh?
I've heard that other babies get washed in the sink, or some kind of baby-sized contraption. I have a 90 gallon tub, with two bath attendants. Afterward I am dried off with a hand tailored hooded towel. I don't know, will this leave me spoiled later in life?
Speaking of spoiled, the Braves play this year has certainly not left me spoiled! I still love to watch the games though. But why do they let them interrupt the game every half inning so people can shout at me about wireless phones and compilations of bad 70's music? This wouldn't be a problem if Bud Selig were still alive .
Don't think that baseball is the only thing I'm getting an early indoctrination on .
To fill the long hours between baseball games and tennis matches, I have lots of toys I like. My neighbor Marijo gave me this really cool bear, SweetPea. I really like her. My current favorite toy in my exersaucer. It has lots of toys attached to it, I get to be upright, exercising my back, and I press down my right foot a lot, which is good exercise.
Hey! Did you know that you can get food from places other than milk? That is so cool!
Oh well, I think that's all for now. This has been K. Remmington Winship, good bye, and have a pleasant good night.
